Our Campus
The school’s campus houses an impressive array of facilities for the children keeping with the modern trends in education. The school offers facilities for academics, sports, and co-curricular activities . It provides the children an ideal environment for academics and co-curricular activities.
The sporting facilities have been designed to give the children an option to pursue their chosen sport all year round so that they can excel in it. The facilities include an Olympic sized main field for cricket and soccer, hockey field, turf cricket practice nets, State of the art swimming pool, open gym area, yoga hall, skating area , basket ball court, Other games that students may opt for include badminton, table tennis and a wide range of indoor games.
Green School
We are committed to instilling the concept of sustainability in our students and staff. Our building too is designed so as to promote students to think green. The vibrant designs and colours inspire students to open their minds to the omnipresent possibilities and opportunities in life. The school also maintains a substantial portion of its campus as green areas, also providing children the opportunity to experience the magnificent and vast variation in trees, plants and herbs. In addition, the school promotes “learning through nature experience” approach as students are encouraged to observe and appreciate greenery and natural environment.
SMART CLASSROOMS
In order to facilitate best learning, we offer smart classrooms using audio-visual methods of engaging students with their lessons. Our smart classes are equipped with latest innovative technology including LCD projectors and Interactive Digital board systems along with computers.The school has a fully equipped Audio Visual room to supplement theoretical instruction at the Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary level. Students have access to facts in a more interesting manner through presentations. The teachers are able to disseminate knowledge via documentaries, videos and talks of eminent personalities.
AUDITORIUM
The school has a huge auditorium with an excellent provision of fresh air entering from various sides. It is a special corner where hustle-bustle is common place. The space can accommodate a large number of students of the school at any given point in time. The Auditorium is brought to use for a range of activities, both scholastic and co-scholastic.It is the centre stage of all major school activities- from school assemblies and Inter House competitions to Inter School events, Awareness Drives, indoor games such as Table Tennis and Badminton. The spacious structure and effective design of the auditorium makes it the favourite choice to host major Inter School competitions.
TRANSPORTATION
Our School has a fleet of buses. A lady attender travels in every bus and disembarks only after the last child is dropped safely. Safety on the road is given paramount importance. The students embark and disembark within the school campus under the vigilance of transport managers and teaching staff. An escort teacher and helping staff accompanies the children in the bus. All the buses are equipped with a medical kit for emergency. In case of a delay due to unforeseen circumstances parents are immediately informed through SMS.
IKEN LAB
The School has also built an Iken lab for students to learn first-hand wonders of science and also train them to build and construct live models. Fostering scientific thinking and reasoning, the lab helps students to move beyond the textbook and promotes learning-by-doing.
COMPUTER LAB
Computers are used in almost every walk of life. We live in a time where everything is largely dependent on the use of the Computer. Computer lab has been equipped with systems and has been upgraded to recent version of technology. It has a hard writing surface on each computer table, so that students can have no problem while taking the notes. Each and every session students will enjoy coming to the lab. Each student will have hands-on experience.All the computers have High-speed internet facility. All time backend support will be given to the staff as well as students. A projector equipped lab, helps the students to learn more effectively.Students will be trained for the technological updates. Computer education in school helps the children to get the access to the extensive world of information. Providing with computer labs is one great step towards teaching computer literacy at School.
Maths
To make mathematics fun and evincible, we at FMS have set up Maths lab for students of classes I to VIII to learn about various concepts using tools, shapes and real-life situations. This helps the students to extend to the experiential learning in Mathematics. Learning Mathematics by doing is perhaps the best way to dispel all fears.It is a place where one can find a collection of mind games, puzzles and other learning materials. The materials are meant to be used by the students of primary and secondary to understand Mathematical concepts clearly. It helps them to explore the world of Mathematics and develops an interest in the subject.
MEDICAL
An airy , well ventilated, well maintained room with beds and basic medical facilities define the health care centre of FMS. The informative charts and posters on the walls describing the importance of a healthy body welcome the little patients. A full time qualified nurse is present to help the students in pain and distress during the school time . The infirmary can handle situations by providing immediate relief in the form of first-aid. Apart from this, it also conducts regular medical check up of the students and maintains health cards.
GYM
Open Gym improves hand and eye coordination and brain development of a child. Playing, climbing, crawling, jumping, running etc help to develop their fine and gross motor skills. Open Gym inspires children to be active and confident and also helps to develop team spirit.The gymnasium, with its modern equipment’s, helps in increasing learning ability and alertness in the classroom.
SCIENCE LAB
FMS has three individually designed Science laboratories for the teaching of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. These bright and colourful labs are all equipped with the usual laboratory features such as gas taps, sinks and electricity sockets together with an extensive range of specialised practical equipment. These practical facilities allow our students to adopt a hands-on approach to discovering and understanding scientific principles and experimental procedures.
Health and Safety are paramount - that is why our labs adhere to all prescribed guidelines, ensuring that the labs are equipped with all necessary safety features. We have a dedicated preparation area and on-staff lab technician to offer teachers and students support with their practical work and with safety-related issues.
